Kelsey posted this on her blog, and I thought it was really good!!

Don't Stop Praying!

Don't stop praying! The Lord is nigh;
Don't stop praying! He'll hear your cry;
God has promised, and he is true;
Don't stop praying! He'll answer you.

'Don't stop praying, but have more trust;
Don't stop praying, for pray we must;
Faith will banish a mount of care:
Don't stop praying! God answers prayer.'

Have you proved this?

The Fatigue Factor: by Dr.David Jeremiah

The Fatigue Factor

I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.
Job 42:2

Recommended Reading
Isaiah 40:27-31
The word "fatigue" frequently shows up in the headlines, preceded by a host of adjectives. Congress suffers budget fatigue. Sports teams lose because of travel fatigue. Trains derail because of driver fatigue. Soldiers face battle fatigue. Ministries go unfunded because of donor fatigue. There was even a report recently about young people suffering Facebook fatigue. All these reports -- and more -- are accurate. We are a society of tired people in a tired world.

But God isn't tired. "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary" (Isaiah 40:28). Since God possesses all the power in the universe, He can do anything He chooses. He can do everything as easily as He does anything. Nothing is more difficult for God than anything else; He does all things with the same amount of ease. Nothing is too hard for Him. Nothing is remotely hard for Him. He never grows tired.

The Bible repeatedly reassures us of God's strengthening grace. So take care of yourself, avoid unnecessary weariness, rest in Him, and draw from His strength.

The same God who built a 100,000-mile ring around Saturn also made the tiny feather of a humming bird. He can do anything; His power is unlimited.

Faith

It's been a while since I've posted something on here, I've got a lot to catch up on.
As you all probably know by now Daddy had a heart attack in February, and we've been busy with doctor appointments, and helping him get better.

I'm going to hopefully soon get caught up on all that's been going on, but for now I wanted to post what I spoke on this past Wednesday.
It was my turn to speak for our Wednesday night bible study, and I spoke on Faith.

Here it is.

So we've been talking a lot about faith, and prayer. It seems to be the theme on every side to me at least.
While we've been learning about how to have more faith, and to pray more, it seems that's the key to revival.
Is Faith, and prayer.

I think if we truly grasped a hold of faith, and spent some time in our prayer closet, like Bro.Daniels preached on Sunday. We'd see some things start to happen.

I'm not talking to anyone here, I'll be the first one to admit I don't always pray like I should, or read my bible like I need to.
And with all the preaching I've been hearing, the Lords been talking to me, and telling me to make better use of my time so I can pray, and read my bible like I ought to.

The concept of faith, at first, was hard for me to grasp. I mean having enough faith so that we could literally move mountains? that's a whole lot of faith! But Jesus said that's the kind of faith we can have, and that's what will happen when we do have that kind of faith.

My text is Ephesians 3:20
I felt like this is the verse the Lord wanted me to use.

Ephesians 3:20
"Now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power in us."

As I was reading that verse, the phrase, "According to the power in us." Struck me. What power? I felt like the Lord spoke to me and said, "Faith."
If we have mustard seed faith, we have power.

So I started to think, 'faith'. What does faith mean? So I looked it up in the dictionary.
According to 'Websters dictionary' Faith means, "Strong belief or trust in someone or something. b: Firm belief in something for which there is no proof.

Strong belief or trust in someone or something. I began to wonder what belief and trust mean't so I looked them up.

Belief means, "A feeling of being sure that someone or something exists."
Trust means, " Assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, and truth of someone."
I thought the definition of trust was a very great way of explaining it. Assured reliance on the Character, strength, ability, and truth of someone.

So they all have a common denominator. Faith- is strong belief or trust in someone. Belief- a feeling of being sure that someone exists. Trust- assured reliance on the character, strength, ability, and truth of someone.
The common denominator is God. In all three definitions they all refer to someone, that someone is God.

So when we say we have faith in God, we're saying that we strongly believe in him, and we have a feeling of being sure that he exists, and we have an assured reliance on his character, strength, ability, and truth.
I was quit surprised to find all of that wrapped into one word, "faith."

So that faith, that belief, and trust in God is our power. In Ephesians 3:20 it says, "According to the power in us." so what the Apostle Paul was saying here was according to our faith.
It's according to our faith on him that we can see the exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think to happen.

So if we have faith, we have power. Power to move mountains. Power to see miracles happen. Power to see soul's saved. Power to see revival.
So how much faith we have does matter, because faith see's things get done, and victory's won.

He's able to do above and beyond all that we could ask or think, according to our faith

Here is a picture that mama took of me on Wednesday night.

That's a lesson the Lord has been teaching me. And it's a very important one.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. =)

Happy New Year!!!

Happy (belated) New Years!!! we've been so busy I haven't had a chance to blog. So I'm gonna go all the way back to thanksgiving, we had a great thanksgiving!!

And Gospel center camp was a really good camp!!! We had some really good service's! Uncle David & Aunty Lisa were the singers and they did a great job. The evangelist gave some soul searching messages.... I Heard that the youth service's were really good, and that Bro.David gave really good messages on Joshua.

The children's service's went really well! On the first night we didn't have any children....so the evangelist volunteered to be our student! At first I thought he was just joking, but he wasn't. It was a very humbling experience to have him as our student, but a really good one.....and he was a very gracious student and patient with us with it being our first experience being children's workers. Hopefully after our camp I'll be able to post picture's from Gospel center camp.

So after camp we focused our attention to getting the duplex finished....and on New Years Eve we were able to start moving in!!! For Christmas we went over to my grandma & Great-grandma's house for dinner and to spend time with them, we had a great time!!! =) We have also been really busy getting ready for camp,

we've had a lot of reservations so it's gonna be a big camp! Sun valley camp started tonight@ 7:30pm and runs till Sunday-Jan 26th. And this Year is the Camps 50th Anniversary!! This Year we have four evangelists. So on Sunday ( Jan-19th)  we are having a special pre-service to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.  anyway we've been really busy...... plus this week I got really sick, so I've been down since Tue-night. I'm better today, but I'm taking it easy so I can be in on the rest of the camp.

I Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!

The Unopened Gift

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4

We expect a lot from December: Christmas songs, yummy Christmas cookies, decorations, good food, and time with those we love. As we rush to buy last-minute gifts, we try to remain calm amidst the crowds and busyness. It shouldn't surprise us that we tend to overlook the one gift that can help us keep perspective during the month of December: God's Word.

When we open the Bible, we find encouragement for those times when our expectations remain unmet. The birth of Jesus lacked most of the comforts we now associate with Christmas. Mary did not expect to give birth to her first child in a barn. Joseph did not expect Mary to become pregnant before they wed. They were alone and far from family. Despite their difficult circumstances, Mary and Joseph trusted God. They had received the gift of God's voice and they followed His directions.

We too can hear from God. Scripture reminds us of what is important. It speaks to our deepest needs and keeps us focused on God and His will during each season of life. Let's not forget to open this gift this Christmas and throughout the year. God's Word has the counsel, wisdom, and power we need. Open it today.

The first step: By Dr.David Jeremiah

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

Psalm 56:3-4

Fear is the first step toward obedience. In Scripture, when God calls a person to a specific task or role, their first response is usually an objection, question, or doubt. Fearfully, they ask, "Why have You chosen me? I'm not qualified. I've never done this before."

God chose Israel, although it was a small, insignificant nation (Deuteronomy 7:7). God chose Moses, although he had run away from Egypt in fear. God chose Joseph, although he was ridiculed and sold by his brothers. Jesus chose an unlikely group of men to be His disciples. God delights in choosing those for whom it is impossible to fulfill His commands in their own strength. He assures us "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me" (Psalm 50:15).

When God calls us, He equips us. If we get stuck in fear, we are forgetting who God is. Although fear is a natural first step, we must move from fear to faith to obey God. As we focus on Him, remembering His power and strength, our faith increases. He will be glorified through our obedience and bring to completion all He has promised.

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future.
It's simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step.

Turning point By: Dr.David Jeremiah

Cars and Christians

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh.

Romans 8:3

The idea of the gasoline-powered vehicle to be used for human and commercial transportation is a fabulous idea! In fact, a century of innovations and further inventions have made cars and trucks a permanent part of our life. So why do we only tolerate them instead of love them?

It's because they break down and need repairs. Rubber wears out, metal breaks down, paint fades, wires break, and we crash these machines into one another. It's not the idea of the vehicle that is bad—it's the execution that breaks down. And so it is with the law of God. The law is "holy and just and good" (Romans 7:12), yet we have a hard time implementing the concept. Vehicles are weak because of their parts and humans are weak because of their flesh—their fallen human nature. If inventors ever create parts that last forever, they will do for vehicles what Jesus did for us: be strong, not weak, in the flesh.

The next time your car is in the shop, thank God that Jesus is a permanent, perfect keeper of God's law. He did for us what we could never do for ourselves.

The law tells me how crooked I am. Grace comes along and straightens me out.

Dwight L. Moody
