school time!

Soo after 3 years of trying to make this happen, I can finally say I’m enrolled at Arizona state University! And I’m so excited!! My dream of becoming a nurse is coming true! I will be starting my first semester in a month and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

I’ve had a lot of people wonder why I haven’t started college yet, and honestly it just wasn’t the time a couple years ago. Not only did we have a million things going on, but I wasn’t ready.... I had to work through some stuff before I could be ready to start this new chapter. And I’m glad I waited because I feel like I’m doing exactly what I’m suppose to right now. Looking back I know that was God leading me down the right path, cause if I would have chosen to start college back then it wouldn’t have ended well and it wasn’t God’s plan for me at that time.

So here I am a couple years later, a little older, more stable in knowing what I want out of life. And soo ready to begin this new chapter of my life. I wouldn’t change anything, Because these last few years have taught me some very valuable lessons that will help me later on down the road.

I’ve always heard my whole life that God’s timing is perfect, and you know what? That’s so true, one of the many lessons I’ve learned is that God always comes through on time, and His will comes on His time. Sometimes we don’t need to adjust God’s will to our time, but our time to God’s will. Because If we get in a hurry and try to rush what we think is God’s will on our timetable we end up messing with what God has planned. So its better to wait patiently and let God lead. Not say that’s an easy thing to do all the time, but its so worth it in the end.

So my friend, whatever is going on in your life today take the time to be patient with your circumstances. Though it may not look like how you think it should, trust that God’s plan for you is worth the work and time that it take for God’s plan to play out.

One of the scriptures I used a lot in high school, and after was Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you- this is the Lord’s declaration- plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” HSCB  version
